Bears vs. Panthers Preview

The key to the Bears winning this game is the same thing that has been missing in the last two games. The Bears need to run the ball. Martz continues to call seven-step drops for Cutler and he continues to get pummeled.

Matt Forte is a very good running back and hasn't been giving much of a chance all season. He needs to get some more attempts and help the offense out. The offensive line is getting better as the weeks go on and the blocking is there. He needs to function in the Mike Martz offense like Faulk did. More runs means more wins for the Bears.

The other key for the Bears is for Cutler to regain his confidence. The line is getting better, and probably will be better against the Panthers. Cutler needs to start getting more receptions and needs to have trust in his line again.

If the Bears can do that and the defense can stay tough, the Bears should win.
